Foreign Conversions For Private, or Commercial pilots from other countries wishing to convert their licence to a Canadian licence. In order to achieve your Private Licence, you must complete the following: - Canadian Aviation Regulations state that no ground school requirement is necessary. - You must achieve 90% or higher on the PSTAR written exam - You must complete 5 take-offs and landings in a helicopter within 6 months of applying for a Canadian Licence Conversion. - The Minister shall remove any restrictions once you have successfully passed the Transport Canada written exam PPHEL. In order to achieve your Commercial Licence, you must pass the following: - Transport Canada Flight Test (on average it takes 10 to 12 hours of flight lessons to prepare for this test) - Transport Canada written exam CPHEL, 100 multiple choice questions |
